Fees are payable strictly in advance prior to the term commencing to secure a place in a class. Late fees of $20 will apply if term fees are received after the first week of each term.
If you have not paid your fees and not attended class by Week 3 of the term, your enrolment will be cancelled.
Make up classes will be offered when classes fall on a public holiday, or if a tutor is sick and we need to cancel the class. Lessons will be done in Week 10.
No refunds are given for missed classes due to overseas trips, family holidays, birthdays, light flu etc. Refunds may be granted due to serious illness, injury or bereavement of immediate family only. Medical certificates will be requested.
Your enrolment will not be processed if you have an outstanding balance on your account from a previous term/year.
Parents/Students must give written confirmation if they wish to unregister. Written confirmation must be given before the end of Week 6 of the term.
Regular attendance is an important part of a student’s progress and commitment to their class.
Students should arrive on time and ready to dance.
Parents/guardians will notify the studio via the portal if a student will be absent.
Missed classes are not refundable or transferable.
Crews, Solo, Duo, Trio are by audition or invite only.
Auditions are held in Term 3
Photos/videos throughout the year may be added to the 808 Facebook or Instagram page; please make the office aware if you or your child wishes to not be in photos/videos.
No photos or videos are to be taken while watching a class unless the teacher has specifically invited you to film or photograph a dance.
Taking part in our shows is not compulsory, although it is highly recommended as it is the highlight of the year.
A show participation fee of $10 per student will be included in your Term 1 & 3 fees – included in this fee is a free show digital download.
Attendance at show rehearsals is compulsory if you are partaking.
During show week, there will be no classes; families need to be flexible if a tutor/management calls for extra training. This will be at no extra cost.
Exception, Uniform is optional for Open Classes,Adults Classes, Yoga and Strength & Conditioning
Enrolments before Term 1 commencing:
All students/families booking for the following dance year who want to hold a space need to pay as per the following.
One enrolment – Full term tuition payment is required to secure your place in the class.
2 or more class enrolments require a minimum deposit of $80 PER CLASS to secure your place in the classes.
If a deposit has been made, the remaining fees are due before Term 1 commences.
A refund will be given if 2 weeks’ cancellation notice is given before the term starts, minus the annual registration fee. Failing to give two weeks’ notice, 808 reserves the right to charge the late cancellation fee of $80.
IMPORTANT: If full payment or a deposit is not made upon enrolment, your spot in your chosen class(es) is not secure and can be taken by another dancer.
Enrolments during the year: Once you are enrolled, your enrolment will automatically roll over to the following terms. Full class payment is required prior to each term commencing once the invoice is sent, to secure your spot. Students with outstanding fees from a prior term or year will not be enrolled in any class until full payment is made.
